The 6^th International Conference on Plants & Environmental Pollution (ICPEP-6) took place in Lucknow, India, from 27-30 November 2018. IUBS supported participation of 42 young scientists in this conference.

The 5^th International Symposium on Biological Invasions (Borok V) will take place in Uglich, Yaroslavl Area, Russia from 25^th to 30^th September 2017. Deadline for final registration and abstract submission is 1 May 2017. IUBS sponsors the conference and the attendance of young scientists.

The 4^th International Congress on Invertebrate Morphology, takes place in Moscow, Russia, from 18-23 August 2017.

IUBS is sponsoring the Symposium "Trends in plant-pollinator interactions in the tropics" which will take place in the Mexican Meridia on 10^th July 2017 at the yearly meeting of the Association of Tropical Biology and Conservation (ATBC).

More than 1,100 participants met at the joint 22^nd International Congress of Zoology and the 87^th meeting of Zoological Society of Japan. IUBS has sponsored one of the sessions and supported the participation of young scientists. IUBS's president, Hiroyuki Takeda, was one of the two presidents of the meeting in Okinawa, Japan from 15^th to 19^th November 2016. The International Society of Zoological Sciences, is one of IUBS's scientific members.
