The International Union of Biological Sciences Commission for Biological Education (IUBS-CBE) organised an international Symposium on Biological Education, in collaboration with the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle (MNHN), Paris, France, the Laboratoire de Didactique et Epistémologie des Sciences (LDES) of the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and UNESCO. The Symposium was held 15-18 May, 2000, in the MNHN Grande Galerie de l'Evolution. ..
