Participation of Young Scientists in 4th Science Forum
IUBS sponsored the participation of 4 young scientists in the 4th Science Forum organized during the COP 14 on 23-24 November 2018 in Egypt. Renu Kumari from India, Sameh Hamdy Soror, Mai Abdelmoaz Allam and Mohamed Ezzat Abdelhack, from Egypt actively participated in the forum by facilitating the group discussions during the 2 days.

24th European Meeting of PhD Students in Evolutionary Biology
IUBs sponsored the participation of young scientists in the European Meeting of PhD Students in Evolutionary Biology organized from 5 to 15 September 2018 in Grenada, Spain.
The IUBS sponcered young scientists came from India, Spain, UK, Netherlands, Poland and Brazil.
International Diatom Symposium
25th International Diatom Symposium, was organized in Seminaries and Botanical Garden Berlin, Germany, from 25th to 30th June 2018 by the International Society for Diatom Research (ISDR).
IUBS sponsored the participation of the young scientists coming from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa and Uruguay.
